"The Butterfly in Allegro" is the second single released for the upcoming debut album "First Movements Along A Curve". I started composing this piano piece on my birthday in July 2019 when a searching for inner-peace, and am really proud of the final structure of the song, particularly the dynamics between calmness or “andante” (mid-tempo, walking-pace) and quick/energetic segments (“allegro”). Also, there’s a beautiful music video that will be released the same day by the super talented DC-based videographer Jillian Banner.


The debut album "First Movements Along A Curve" was recorded and mixed by Jeff Gruber at Blue House Productions in Silver Spring, Maryland. The music was mastered by Jackson Wargo (of the band Snowball II). Christopher Jenkins (C.M. Jenkins) is producing the album.

Christopher is a pianist and music composer from Maryland, currently living in Washington, DC.
